The Sound of Juggling –
3rd Salzburg Juggling Convention

May 30–June 2, 2024
(starting Thursday at 1 p.m., closing Sunday at 3 p.m.)
Where?
Volksschule Anthering bei Salzburg, Schmiedingerstraße 1, 5102 Anthering bei Salzburg
Anthering is located in Salzburg, about 9 km north of Salzburg City (train station). The convention takes place in and around a school building. At the jugglers’ disposal will be a large and a mini circus tent, two gyms, class rooms (to stay overnight), a large juggling meadow, and more. How to get there?
By train and bus:
Take the Westbahnstrecke (one of Austria’s main railway lines which connects e.g. Salzburg, Linz and Vienna) to Hauptbahnhof (= central train station) Salzburg or get there from Munich (Germany). Take the local railway line S1 to Anthering (15 minutes) and walk about 750 meters to the festival site. Alternatively, take the bus Postbus 111 from the place in front of the central train station to Anthering Ortsmitte and walk about 150 meters.

By car:
Take the autoroute A1 from Vienna or Linz, or A8 from Munich (Germany) in direction Salzburg. Leave it at exit Salzburg Nord and follow the B156 in direction Bergheim (Braunau) to Anthering.
Housing:
In the school building:
Several classrooms will be adopted as sleeping, for families two separate rooms will be provided. Bring your own sleeping bag and mat.
Camping:
There will be areas for camping and for a limited number of caravans on site. Please, bring your own tent.

Food:
Breakfast will be provided on site. It is included in the convention fee. Furthermore you can buy crêpes, snacks, softdrinks, coffee and more. A supermarket is close to the festival site.

Open Stage (Thursday 8 p.m.), fight night (Thursday 11 p.m.), volleyclub tournament (Friday 2 p.m.), juggling games (Friday 4:30 p.m.), jam session (Friday 7 p.m.), circus flea market (Saturday 12:00 a.m.), gala Show (Saturday 7 p.m.), workshops and more.
