Brückler Frühsommer-Jonglierconvention

Where?

Gemeinschaftshaus Brückl, Schmieddorferstraße 4, 9371 Brückl

Brückl is located in Carinthia, Austria’s most southern province, between St. Veit/Glan and Völkermarkt. The distance to Klagenfurt, Carinthia’s capital, is about 25 km. At the jugglers’ disposal will be the village’s community center ("Gemeinschaftshaus") and a large outdoor zone. Furthermore after 4 p.m the gym of the elementary school and on Saturday gym and outdoor area of another school.

How to get there?

By train:

The closest train stations are St. Veit/Glan (15 km) and Klagenfurt (25 km). The train ride from Vienna will take about respectively 3 3/4 or 4 hours, from Salzburg respectively 3 1/2 or 3 hours. Shuttle buses will bring you from the train stations to Brückl and back. On Friday there are also regular buses operating these routes.

IMPORTANT: For organizing the shuttle bus service it is necessary that you complete the preregstration form with your arrival and departure data.

By car:

From Vienna or Graz take the autoroute A2. Leave it at junction Völkermarkt-Ost and take the B70 in direction Völkermarkt-Ost. In the first roundabout take the second exit, in the second one the first exit and follow the Seeberg Str./B82. Turn right at Klagenfurter Straße B82/B92 and follow it to Brückl.

From Salzburg the Alpenstraße/B160 will bring you to the autoroute A10/E55. Enter it in direction Graz/Villach and leave it at exit Klagenfurt-Ost in direction Klagenfurt-Ost. Follow the signs "B92/Brückl".

There will be a camping area close to Café-Restaurant Schattleitner, St. Veiter Str. 1 9371 Brückl. (Distance to the festival site: 700 m)

Private accomodation:

You can book a room in Restaurant Schattleitner , Tel. +43 (0) 4214 2241. Convention participants will get a discount.

Organize the booking yourself.

Food:

Breakfast (Friday–Sunday) is included in the convention fee. You will get it at Restaurant Schattleitner. There you can also get dinner for a fair price. Cakes, coffee and drinks will be sold on the convention site.

Two supermarkets are closeby.

Festival program:

Free juggling, workshops (find the details at the convention home page), open stage, fire space, jollyball tournament and gala show (Saturday 8 p.m.).

Furthermore, from June 4–7 "children and youth circus days" will take place in the elementary school, Franz Oman Platz 6, 9371 Brückl. More information is to be found at the home page.

4 days (3 nights): EUR 40,– (if preregistered), EUR 45,– (otherwise)
3 days (2 nights): EUR 32,– (if preregistered), EUR 37,– (otherwise)
2 days (1 night): EUR 25,– (if preregistered), EUR 30,– (otherwise)
1 day (no overnight stay): EUR 10,–
